– Relevant registration with AHPRA
– Peri-operative qualification or equivalent

e, is 359 bed acute care facility incorporating an extensive range of specialities and facilities including Cardio-thoracic, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Orthopaedic, Plastic Surgery, Fascio-maxillary, Endoscopy Day theatre, Mate
ity services, Hospital in the Home, Cardiology, Cath Lab services, Medical services and a busy Emergency department. The theatre complex is in the process of expansion and will comprise of 11 Operating Rooms, a Hybrid theatre and an Endoscopy Day Theatre.

Cardiac Scrub/ Scout Nurse

Currently looking for an experienced Cardiac Scrub/ Scout Nurse for a large, well established and respected public hospital.

About the hospital

This Heidelberg based facility is a major provider of tertiary health services and professional education and research for the North east suburbs of Melbourne and further afield. It is an internationally recognised leader in clinical teaching and training and covers all specialities.

About you

This candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

– Full APHRA registration

– 12 Months acute cardiac perioperative experience

– A commitment to quality, best practice and environmental safety

– A patient centred approach to evidence based care delivery

– Knowledge of professional standard, knowledge of legal and ethical requirements.
