The opportunity
Our East Perth Red Cross Warehouse is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to assist and accompany the donation driver with delivery and pickup operations.
We are currently seeking a volunteer to assist and accompany our donation driver with delivery and pickups from out Red Cross Shops in the Perth Metropolitan and South West Areas.
This position plays an important role in helping us ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained.
You will also have the ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting and carrying items when loading ad unloading the vehicle.

The Role:

Reporting into the GM of Marketing you will be responsible for ensuring the development and growth of their current existing database across current mid-tier level clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

– Developing supporters to ensure that the best outcome are achieved in terms of retention and growth

– Developing CRM (Salesforce) reports

– preparing estimates of carbon emissions in response to offset inquires

– Liaise closely with the marketing and engagement coordinator to maximise relationships with supporters

– Assist the GM with the overall client strategy

– promote all areas of the Greenfleet program

– Build and maintain active networks among potential supporters to grow the Greenfleet business

Key Requirements:

– Account Management B2B relationship experience

– Excellent customer service skills

– Strong networking skills

– Ability to negotiate partnerships and close deals

– Excellent communication skills

– An active interest and a solid understanding of environmental issues

Having good social connections are essential for all aspects of health, especially as we age. Red Cross supports older people who live alone or who have few social connections or people with disability to help improve their wellbeing.
Red Cross Community Visitors Scheme match people who don’t receive regular social visits with a caring and friendly volunteer. Community Visiting can include home or Aged Care Facility visits, social outings, group activities and peer support.
The opportunity
Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) volunteers make regular social visits and provide companionship and friendship to residents of aged care facilities or older people living in their own homes.
Volunteers are matched one-on-one with a participant or run a small group in Aged Care Facilities with residents who have common interests.
As a Community Visitor you will be broadening your skills and make a connection that can enrich your life as well as the life of the person you visit.
The visits are relaxed and social in nature, where you might chat together, reminisce, listen to music or play card games.

Working with the CCM/PIMS project team, this opportunity will provide unique exposure to the Red Cross organisational environment.
